Life will never be the same!
Tonight I'm sitting here thinking about my beautiful Mum surrounded by her photos; its hard to think back to this time last year when we went over to Ireland to celebrate Mums 85th birthday. She looked wonderful, happy and healthy, and was really happy to have all her family around her, (except those that coundn't come, Margaret and Tina were there also, it was lovely to see them together on a happy occasion. But then our world fell apart when Mum got sick at the beginning of this year, we could not take it in that Mum was going to leave us. She wasn't afraid though, she just said she hated leaving us....what courage she had, what she must have felt in those last few weeks... but as Pete says, "we have so much to be grateful for" so I thank you God for giving us the most wonderful mother, who will never never be forgotton, the precious times we had with her when she was in hospital, and to be with her till the end, I will always be eternally grateful for that! I know that Mum's in a better place and that we'll all be united again one day! Happy birthday Mum, can't help but remember you on your birthday last year, and tears keep welling up in my eyes, love you Mum, you will help us more now that you are in Heavenxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It felt very strange being in The Gables last week and of course, you wasn't there, Mum. Having said that, there were many times I felt you were there. Missing you as much as ever, every day is tough. I love and miss my Mum.

She was a great mum, always there, always generous, always helpful. I do miss her very much. She was a very big character and our lives are much emptier without her with us.
I feel she is still watching out for us all and will be an even bigger help to us now - all we have to do is ask and believe!.
I lit a candle for her today and sat in church under "The McDonagh Star".
JLS being No 1 is fantastic and I am sure she must have put in a good word for them up there!!
